Everytime a man is tested, he questions God. He asks why on Earth, he’s got the worst case scenario, that why, of all people, he’s suffering.

I remember what a bishop shared during a necrological service, a sister once said to a cardinal “She is God’s gift to you people.” And then the cardinal said, “But she is suffering.” and the sister replied, “Like all God’s gift, she will suffer.”

A man is tested because God knows he can do it. You are given the life you’re living right
now because you are strong enough to live it.
